TRAINING


NEW MEMBERS TRAINING

Training for new IA-TF1 members will consist of the following:
  • Task Force Orientation and SOP's
  • Incident Command and Task Force Structure
  • Communications Procedures and Equipment
  • Tool and Equipment Familiarization
  • Mobilization Proceedures
  • Critical Incident Stress Management
  • Structural Collapse Technician Course*
    (* Will be required for most new members)
Most of IA-TF1 personnel will receive their training for Structural Collapse Technician at the Disaster City Training Facility in College Station, Texas.
This training is instructed by certified FEMA USAR instructors from accross the country.
